Roadside ITS Station
The roadside ITS station is responsible for keeping track of the local state of the intersection. It contains a Local Dynamic Map (LDM) (ETSI EN 302 895) which is a digital representation of the intersection with its topology and. This is not a physical box at the side of the road, it is part of the cloud infrastructure in Mobilidata since communication happens over the cellular network.
In Talking Traffic the Intersection Topology File (ITF) was introduced. It contains MAP Intersection Topology data (SAE J2735, ISO TS 19091), and allows for analysis of the V-log stream (D3047-9) which is the event log of everything that happens on the TLC.
